Sumy State University is located in Sumy city in the North-East of Ukraine. Its history began in 1948. Today, SumDU is a leading university in the region. The University currently serves about 12,000 students who are pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees in 55 majors and 23 fields of knowledge. About 1900 foreign students represent more than 50 countries worldwide. Sumy State University enters the ranking of the THE World University Rankings by Times Higher Education at the position of 501-600 and 1-2 position among Ukrainian universities.
